Posey joined Bramanor Corgis in April 2008 from two of the most prestigious and respected Corgi breeders - Donna Francis and Sandy Wolfskill of Elfwish Pembroke Welsh Corgis and Alan Matthews of Craigycor Pembroke Welsh Corgis. We are extremely thankful to Donna, Sandy and Alan and proud to own such a wonderful young bitch at Bramanor. Her outstanding pedigree lines are a great asset to our young show kennel.
Posey has been incredibly successful in the show ring with limited showing. At the world's largest dog show, Crufts Dog Show in the United Kingdom, she won Best Puppy Bitch in 2007, and then went on to capture 4th place at the PWCCA National Specialty in Rhode Island, USA in September 2007 from a very competitive and large 12-18 mos bitch class judged by Tim Mathiesen (Nebriowa Corgis). She followed this by adding another specialty placement at the Lakeshore Pembroke Welsh Corgi Specialty in October 2007.
Within 1 month of joining us Posey thrilled us by going Winners Bitch adding to her points total and picking up her first AKC points out here on the West Coast. In August 2008 she became Bramanor Corgis' first Specialty Winner winning Winners Bitch for a 4-point Major & Best of Winners at the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of the Rockies Specialty. She then took time out of the show ring to grow coat, and it was worth the wait for at her first outing in Jan 2009 she captured her second major at the prestigious Palm Springs Kennel Club show, again in a large and competitive entry of bitches. Posey completed her American title winning back to back Best of Breeds at the Kachina Kennel Club shows in Phoenix followed the very next weekend winning back to back Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex in Las Vegas in April 2009.
